DISTANCE SALES AGREEMENT

This Distance Sales Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between Norseal Wool (“Seller”) and the consumer (“Buyer”) regarding the purchase of products through the Norseal Wool online store.

By completing an order through the Norseal Wool website, the Buyer acknowledges that they have read and accepted this Agreement, together with the applicable pre-contractual information provided before the order is placed.

3. SUBJECT OF THE AGREEMENT

The subject of this Agreement is the sale and delivery of the products ordered by the Buyer through the Norseal Wool website.

The essential characteristics of each product, including where applicable:

Product name;
Product description;
Size;
Colour;
Material;
Quantity;
Product price;

are displayed on the relevant product page and/or order summary before the order is completed.

4. ORDER DETAILS

The following information forms part of the individual sales transaction:

The final order summary presented to the Buyer before payment constitutes the transaction-specific details of this Agreement.

5. PRICE AND PAYMENT

The total amount payable by the Buyer is displayed before the order is completed.

The total amount may include, where applicable:

Product price;
Applicable taxes;
Shipping or delivery charges;
Other charges that have been clearly disclosed before the order is placed.

No additional payment obligation will be imposed unless the Buyer has expressly agreed to the relevant additional charge where such approval is required by law.

The Turkish Ministry of Trade specifically requires consumers to receive information about the total price and applicable additional charges before entering into a distance contract.

6. PAYMENT METHOD

The Buyer may pay using the payment methods made available during checkout.

Payment may be processed through authorized payment service providers.

Where applicable, the payment provider may process payment information directly in accordance with its own security and privacy procedures.

Norseal Wool does not intentionally store complete payment card information, including CVV/security codes, on its own servers where the payment is processed by a third-party payment provider.

7. DELIVERY

The products will be delivered to the delivery address provided by the Buyer during checkout.

The applicable shipping method and estimated delivery period will be displayed during the ordering process.

Unless a different period has been expressly agreed, the seller must fulfill the order within the period required by applicable legislation.

Under the current Turkish Distance Contracts Regulation, for ordinary goods sales the delivery period may not exceed 30 days, except for goods prepared according to the consumer’s request or personal needs.

Norseal Wool will make reasonable efforts to dispatch orders as soon as possible.

8. INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY

Norseal Wool offers international shipping to selected destinations.

Delivery availability, shipping costs and available shipping methods depend on the destination country and are displayed during checkout.

International shipments may be subject to:

Customs duties;
Import taxes;
VAT;
Customs clearance charges;
Other charges imposed by the destination country.

Unless otherwise stated during checkout, such charges are the responsibility of the Buyer.

The Buyer is responsible for ensuring that the ordered products can legally be imported into the destination country.

9. TRANSFER OF RISK

Norseal Wool is responsible for loss or damage occurring before the product is delivered to the Buyer or to a third party designated by the Buyer, except where the Buyer has independently selected a carrier other than the carrier offered by Norseal Wool.

This reflects the applicable Turkish Distance Contracts Regulation.

10. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

For transactions to which the Turkish distance-sales rules apply, the Buyer has the right to withdraw from the Agreement within 14 days, without giving a reason and without being subject to a contractual penalty, subject to the statutory exceptions.

For goods, the withdrawal period generally begins when the product is delivered to the Buyer or to a third party designated by the Buyer.

The Buyer may also exercise the withdrawal right between the conclusion of the Agreement and delivery of the product.

The official Ministry of Trade guidance confirms the 14-day withdrawal period for distance sales.

11. EXERCISING THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

The Buyer may exercise the withdrawal right by sending a written notice or communication through a durable medium to:

The Buyer should provide:

Full name;
Order number;
Product(s) being returned;
Contact information.

No reason is required to exercise the statutory withdrawal right.

12. RETURN OF THE PRODUCT

After exercising the withdrawal right, the Buyer must return the product within the period prescribed by applicable law.

The Buyer should retain the shipping receipt and tracking information until the return has been completed.

The product should be returned with its accessories, labels and packaging where reasonably possible.

The Buyer may be responsible for any decrease in the value of the product only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

13. EXCEPTIONS TO THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

The right of withdrawal does not apply where a statutory exception is applicable.

Depending on the product and circumstances, these exceptions may include:

Products prepared according to the Buyer’s specific requests or personal needs;
Products that are perishable or have a short expiration period;
Products that are unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons after protective packaging, seals or similar protective elements have been opened;
Products that become inseparably mixed with other products after delivery;
Other products expressly excluded by applicable legislation.

For example, Turkish regulations recognize an exception for goods whose return is unsuitable for health or hygiene reasons after protective packaging, seals or similar protective elements have been opened.

14. REFUND

Where the withdrawal right is validly exercised, Norseal Wool will refund the payments received from the Buyer in accordance with applicable law.

The refund will generally include the applicable standard delivery costs paid by the Buyer, subject to the applicable legal rules.

The refund will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless otherwise agreed or legally permitted.

Under the current Turkish rules, the refund is generally required within 14 days from the applicable statutory trigger.

15. DEFECTIVE OR INCORRECT PRODUCTS

If the Buyer receives:

A defective product;
A damaged product;
An incorrect product;
A product different from the one ordered;

The Buyer’s mandatory statutory rights regarding defective or non-conforming goods remain unaffected.

16. CANCELLATION BEFORE DELIVERY

Where the Buyer exercises a legally available cancellation or withdrawal right before delivery, Norseal Wool will process the cancellation and applicable refund in accordance with the relevant legislation.

If Norseal Wool cannot fulfill the order due to circumstances making performance impossible, the Buyer will be informed and applicable payments will be refunded in accordance with the law.

Under the Turkish Distance Contracts Regulation, where performance becomes impossible, the seller must notify the consumer and refund the payments within the prescribed period.

17. BUYER’S OBLIGATIONS

The Buyer agrees to:

Provide accurate billing and delivery information;
Pay the total amount shown during checkout;
Provide any information reasonably required for customs clearance of an international shipment;
Follow applicable product instructions;
Comply with applicable laws regarding the importation of products into the destination country.

18. SELLER’S OBLIGATIONS

Norseal Wool agrees to:

Provide the products described in the order;
Process the order in accordance with the applicable terms;
Deliver the products to the address provided by the Buyer;
Protect the Buyer’s personal data in accordance with applicable privacy legislation;
Respect the Buyer’s mandatory statutory consumer rights;
Process valid returns, refunds and withdrawal requests in accordance with applicable law.

19. PERSONAL DATA

Personal data collected during the purchase process is processed in accordance with the Norseal Wool:

The Buyer’s personal data may be processed for purposes including order processing, payment, delivery, customer service, accounting, legal compliance and website security.

21. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

This Agreement is governed by the applicable laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply to the Buyer.

For disputes concerning consumer transactions in Türkiye, the competent consumer dispute resolution mechanisms and courts determined under applicable legislation shall apply.

For 2026, the Turkish Ministry of Trade states that consumer disputes below 186,000 TRY may be submitted to the relevant Consumer Arbitration Committee (Tüketici Hakem Heyeti), while disputes above that threshold may fall within the jurisdiction of the Consumer Courts, subject to applicable procedural rules.

22. ACCEPTANCE OF THE AGREEMENT

Before completing an order, the Buyer confirms that they have:

Read the pre-contractual information;
Reviewed the product information;
Reviewed the total price and applicable shipping charges;
Reviewed the applicable payment information;
Read and accepted this Distance Sales Agreement;
Been informed of their applicable withdrawal rights.

The order is completed only after the Buyer confirms the applicable payment obligation.

23. AGREEMENT RECORD

Norseal Wool will retain the transaction records in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

The Buyer should retain the order confirmation and related documents for their records.

24. EFFECTIVE DATE

This Agreement becomes applicable to the individual transaction when the order is successfully completed through the Norseal Wool website.

The version applicable to the transaction is the version in effect at the time the order is placed, subject to mandatory provisions of applicable law.
